Ski area Region Berchtesgaden
The cosy slopes at Hochschwarzeck are ideal for families. Floodlit fans have the opportunity to enjoy themselves until the evening hours on the Rossfeld! The 6 km long valley run there (ascent to Rossfeld included 1 x p. day) to Oberau is also wonderfully suitable for beginners due to its easy level (can only be skied when there is sufficient snow). The boarders' scene meets at Götschen, where the snow park is located.
Thanks in part to their World Cup-suitable slopes, the ski areas around Königssee enjoy an international reputation as venues for world championships in snowboarding as well as in tobogganing and bobsleighing! And the Zinken ski area even offers you the chance to ski the slopes in neighbouring Austria.
Night skiing Bad Reichenhall
In Germany, many skiers are drawn to the slopes for night skiing when selected slopes in some ski areas are lit up for night skiing. Around Bad Reichenhall, too, some night skiing resorts open for business on certain dates in the Berchtesgaden region. For example, in the Rossfeld ski area, the approximately 1 km long piste at the Großer-Lift tow is opened for night skiing every Wednesday from 18:00 to 21:00. In the Götschen ski area, the night ski run at the Götschenkopfbahn 3-seater chairlift is open for night skiing on Fridays between 18:00 and 21:00. Here you can even set off for evening skiing on around 1.8 kilometres of illuminated piste.Après ski Bad Reichenhall
