Fendels

The snow-sure resort Fendels is located at 1,352 m altitude an offers an unforgettable view of the surrounding Inn Valley and the mountains, which extend up to 3,400 m. From there resort you can enjoy direct access to the Fendels ski area - and the Kaunertal Glacier is also to be found in close proximity. Many guest houses and restaurants are ideal for getting to know the regional cuisine. After a hearty meal, there are many further leisure time offer to try, such as tobogganing, snowshoe hiking or ice skating - you will surely not be bored in Fendels. With its 4.5 km long toboggan run, which has been awarded with the quality seal for natural toboggan runs, Fendels is especially popular with families.

Kauner Valley Glacier

The Kauner Valley is located in the federal state of Tyrol in Austria. The Valley is now a nature reserve, whose name originates from the valley's heart, the Kaunergrat. It separates the 2 valleys Pitz and Kauner and forms a part of the mountain massif of the Oetz Valley Alps. The natural park landscape formed by the glacier period, stretches over all altitudes and offers an impressive diversity of natural sights and regional characteristics. The Kauner Valley glacier ski area, located at the foot of the Weißseespitze (3,526 m), guarantees winter sports fans snow security from glacier autumn right through to sunny skiing in the spring.
