Cross-country Eisenerz

In the Eisenerzer Ramsau, not far from the resort centre of Eisenerz, there is a cross-country network available of 20 km length in total, maintained for classic and skating style. These trails are known to be the most reliable for snow in entire Styria and have therefore also been awarded with Styrian Cross-country Quality Seal. The ideal sunny, location between 1,010 and 1,050 m, at the foot of the Kaiserschild (2,085 m) makes this trail interesting for all levels of skill. It is not for nothing that Eisenherz has established itself as a training centre for Nordic Winter Sports, including free changing cabins and showers to use. In three loops, the prepared tracks lead over soft hills in the valley and offer some cosy pause stations directly along the trail side. A pleasurable and easy-going cross-country skiing day is ensured here.
